(Hunting photographs on Lake Victoria, Africa)
Christopher T. Ward lives in Arizona where he has been a professional photographer since 1997, specializing in imagery used in marketing for print advertising and the World Wide Web. He has traveled all over the United States and as far away from home as Africa in pursuit of imagery. In his own words, this is how photography became his passion:

“While I was growing up, I spent many hours of my childhood with my head held out the side camper window of my dad’s ’68 Ford pick-up truck taking in the beautiful landscapes of the Western United States. My grandparents lived in Montana and every summer my family made the trek north to Laurel to visit them. I was fortunate enough to have parents that both respected and loved the beauty God has bestowed on this earth, and I look back at these experiences as the “building blocks” of my passion and appreciation for this great land we live in. I also credit these trips for giving me the ambition to capture great landscapes on film. Seeing the vast vistas and towering mountain ranges, the rolling hills, and sweeping plains and farming lands that the highways roll through. Watching the sun dance off of the rolling rivers that such highways follow as well as the lakes that gather their waters. Experiencing the Painted Desert in Arizona, the carved canyons of Lake Powell, the Coral Sand Dunes of Pink Coral Sands, the sand stone karsts in Bryce Canyon, the towering peaks of the Grand Tetons, plumes of steam in Yellowstone, and the final descent down a glacial valley on the Cook City Highway into Montana have been emblazoned on my mind as some of life’s finest hours.”

It is Chris’ hope that the people who see his work in THE GREAT “I AM” can draw meaning from his photographs in a way that compliments the book and its message as a whole.  (MATTHEW 7:7)
